Reflections from Our Art Community

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your wonderful art classes. My daughter looks forward to them every week, and I've seen a huge improvement in her confidence and skills since she started. You create a really welcoming and fun environment, and it's impressive how you manage to adapt to each student's individual skill level while encouraging them to be creative and try new things.

I’m especially grateful for your patience and the way you help her think through the creative process. Her drawings and paintings have become much more detailed and she’s more willing to experiment with different techniques. Thank you for fostering her passion for art and for being such a positive and inspiring teacher.

I would like to thank so many people who helped me in (my project for Contemporary Philippine Arts subject).  I first want to acknowledge my creative and helpful teacher, Sir Ralph, for the guidance he’d given to my classmates and me so wouldn’t stray from the path and to )help us (create) our master pieces.  He had also provided specific advises for my painting which I doubt would be as half decent as it is without him.

Hello Sir!  Unang una sa lahat gusto ko pong magpasalamat na naging teacher ko po kayo sa arts from elementary to high school.  Thank you po for guiding us and teaching us arts through the years.  Naging sobrang impactful ang art sa akin.  Through art, na-express ko pong ang sarili ko, nakapag-kwento ako, at nakapag-convey ng meaningful message.  I also learned to push myself out of my boundary when making art.  Nung na-involve po ako with arts nagkaroon ako ng deep appreciation sa mga works ng other artists.  Na-enjoy ko rin po yung pag-explore with different mediums and different art styles.  I will apply po kung anong natutunan ko sa subject niyo in life and during college.  I wish you the best in your art journey.

Hi Sir Ralph, I hope you’re doing well po!  I just want to thank you for introducing me to industrial design.  I still remember when you asked me what I wanted to do in the field of arts, and I said I liked designing. You told me about industrial design, and after (looking into) the program, I was fascinated by how it blends creativity with functionality to improve everyday objects and experiences.

In junior high school, I know I was lacking especially in traditional art, and was even surprised when I took Arts and Design in senior high school.  Almost everyone didn’t expect it either, as I was really into writing in junior year.  But thank you for not discouraging me even though I originally came from STEM and shifted to ADT.  You helped bring out the best in me and in all my classmates.

I remember not taking the entrance exam to PUP because it was on the same day as the art contest we had at Robinsons Antipolo.  I had a memorable and great experience.  I might not be in the art field today had I taken the entrance exam to PUP instead.  I am truly grateful for all your teachings and your encouraging words.  Even though I wasn’t very good at the beginning, you believed in me and my classmates.

Lastly, I still remember making paper for our plates and presenting them to the class for the solo thesis in grade 12.  These experiences really helped me in college, especially during my solo thesis defense.

I hope and pray that you continue to achieve success in your career.  I’m always rooting for you po!  God bless!
